What type and size of barcode labels I can print from RetailCore?
RetailCore can handle many types of bar codes such as EAN Codes, UPC Codes, IMEI, ISBN or Other Serial Numbers. See Barcode and QR code samples here. Our software has built in barcode label designer to get labels on various paper sizes (A4 sheet, Roll paper). Our friendly support team also help you setup our software with your barcode printer.
Can I print barcode labels from Laserjet printer and A4 paper size?
Yes. You can save money by not having to invest in dedicated barcode label printer. Ready sticker paper is available with pre-cutted labels that can be printed from Laserjet printer. We will help you setup barcode label printing from our software to your printer.
Can your software generate a unique barcode for each stock item?
Yes. You can get a unique barcode per stock item. By doing so each stock item will have one time usage barcode, for example, this is similar to serial number of a product. So when an item is sold then that barcode is not re-usable. This way of barcode generation is particularly useful when you want to track item sold to whcih party / customer.
My products has supplier barcode on its packaging, do I still have to print your barcode label?
If your product has supplier or manufacturer barcode label then you can aviod printing your label from our software. In RetailCore you can add your supplier barcode for product and so during product billing you can scan manufacturer barcode to search product.
I have thousands of existing printed barcodes from my old POS software, can I use these with RetailCore?
Yes. Existing barcodes can be scanned into the supplier / manufacturer barcode or SKU in the product profile page, so you won’t have to generate new ones from scratch. You can also easily bulk upload your old product data into our software using our excel file.
Do you provide barcode label printer and scanner hardware?
We do not supply hardware. All branded hardware works with RetailCore. Check barcode printers and scanners compatible by clicking here. You can get hardware easily from shop closer to you or from online store. We can help RetailCore setup with your hardware provided your hardware driver is installed on your computer.
What are the sample barcode label sizes you provide?
RetailCore can print barcode labels on label sizes. For most major businesses, we have set label format to work for you. For your business we can help you setup your custom label size and product information to show on label.
How do I track an item if its barcode label is lost?
We know you are busy and so our software will save your time. Tracking item is easy with Retailcore. Our software provide multiple ways of tracking your items : by system barcode ( generated from our software );
> By supplier’s / manufacturer barcode;
> By product code / style no. and SKU
> You can add item photos too in our software and we have displayed photos every where possible for easy lookup so it makes comparing with physical item easier.
We are also working on AI powered feature here in you can click your item photos and upload in our software and you will get results : items already in software database similar to uploaded photo.
Can I use only barcode management module with Tally ERP?
Yes. If you do not want to use Purchase and Sales module, then RetailCore Barcode / QR Code generator and label printing module is available as standalone software. We also provide our software API so that your current ERP software such as Tally can be integrated with RetailCore Barcode module provided you have support on API integration from your ERP provider.
